Zajac Ranch - Serving Children in British Columbia

For more than 40 years, Don Rutledge of North Vancouver, British Columbia, has invested in a diverse array of mining, real estate development, and other enterprises. Also active in charitable giving, Don Rutledge contributes to several organizations, including The Mel Jr. and Marty Zajac Foundation that operates Zajac Ranch approximately an hour from Vancouver.

Situated on 44 acres of wilderness near Stave Lake in the town of Mission, Zajac Ranch operates summer camps for children and young adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The camps give participants an opportunity to develop their social awareness and appreciation for the environment as they engage in outdoor activities.

In addition to providing valuable summer camp experiences for those with special needs, Zajac Ranch serves as a venue for special events. With an amphitheatre that seats 110 guests, the ranch is available for weddings, retreats, and conferences. To learn more about Zajac Ranch, visit ZajacRanch.com.
