About Me

With more than 40 years of experience working around the Vancouver, British Columbia, area, Don Rutledge spent almost two decades with the Fleming Financial Corporation assisting with venture capital financing and investor relations. A resident of North Vancouver, Don Rutledge also was the owner and operator of several restaurants, hotels, and night clubs in the area, including Devonshire, Reeboz, and Billie Miners Saloon.

Don Rutledge supports several local nonprofits and attends many of their events. In June 2016, he participated in the 52nd annual Zajac Golf Classic Tournament, which is British Columbia’s longest running charity golf tournament. Proceeds from the event went to the Zajac Foundation and Zajac Ranch for Children. That same month, he and his wife Leslie rode their motorcycles to Kelowna to attend the eighth annual Earth Wind Fire Celebration to support The Nature Trust of British Columbia.

In his spare time, Don Rutledge enjoys staying active and participates in snow skiing, wakeboarding, and hiking. He also plays tennis and golf and regularly rides his motorcycle. In addition, he remains involved in religion as a community trustee for the St. Francis-In-The-Wood Legacy Fund.
